Q. How do I book?

A. Once you have a date in mind, use the enquiry form in the menu at the top of the page. Altenatively email us at hello@brisbanepicnicparties.com.au please include the date, location and number of guests.

 

Q. What happens if it rains?

A. All clients are strongly advised to have a back up location in case of wet weather. We can relocate your picnic to an indoor location or sheltered undercover area. If you do not have a suitable alternative location, get in touch and we can offer some suggestions.

 

Q. Do you require a deposit?

A. Yes. A non refundable 30% deposit is required to secure your booking.

 

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. 

  • Cancellations 14 days prior to your booking will be eligible for a refund, less the deposit.

  • Cancellations within 14 days prior to your picnic will be refunded the delivery and pickup fees only. The picnic dollar amount will not be refunded as this is considered loss of opportunity.

  • No refund applies to our required 30% deposit.

 

Q. When is full payment required?

A. Full payment is required to be paid 14 days prior to your event. If your event is booked within the 14 day payment requirement, full payment is required at the time of booking.

 

Q. Is there a delivery fee?

A. We provide free delivery to New Farm Park. Other locations within a 5km radius incur a $20 delivery fee. Outside of this will be location dependent, please use the enquiry form for a delivery quote.

 

Q. Can I add items, guests or catering to my booking at a later date?

A. Yes.

  • You can add items from our inventory (subject to availability) to your booking up until 3 days prior to your event.
  • Catering requires 5 days notice.
  • You can add additional guests to your booking up until 2 days prior to your event.

 

Q. Can I remove items, guests or catering from my booking?

A. Yes. You can remove items, catering and guests up until 14 days from your event. NO REFUNDS will be given for guests that do not show up or cancel within 14 days.

 

Q. Can I bring my own catering?

A. Yes, of course! However, please note that we recommend hiring (or BYO) one of our large trestle tables to put your food on as we can't guarantee there will be room on our picnic tables for your food or catering boxes.

 

Q. Can I bring my own drinks?

A. Yes.

  • We do not provide drinks unless you have ordered our Mimosa Bar.
  • Empty ice buckets are provided. Please BYO ice! Or bring an esky.

 

Q. Can I bring my own decorations?

A. Yes. Please note balloons cannot be attached or placed on the picnic tables as they blow around knocking over glassware and causing breakages.

 

Q. Can I do paint and sip at the picnic?

A. No! We do not allow paint and sip at our picnics. 

 

Q. Can we drink alcohol at the park?

A. You can legally drink alcohol at New Farm Park. If you drink alcohol at non licenced park Brisbane Picnic Parties takes no responsibility for any alcohol consumption or penalties occurred.

 

Q. What happens if I am late to my picnic?

A. We cannot extend your picnic if you are late. We have other bookings and a strict timeline we need to stick to. Please allow time for traffic, finding a park and walking to your picnic.
